Alright, so - There's a few things i want to talk about! first: i accidentaly found a bug where i oppened the basement door without finding the key. But idk what happened honestly.. i just clicked to open the door and literally oppened xD and i was like "okay.. lets go"
second: I literally just recorded and uploaded to my channel, so thats the reason probably there isnt much viewers for now. But honestly, i really enjoyed the game and the atmosphere. Also, i did my review on the end of the game, wich was on my native language (portuguese-br) so please use the youtube feature to translate and understand my thoughs

Besides the few bugs to iron out, and perhaps a brighter flashlight, I'd say this game definitely has potential. Well done, dev! Hoping for the best for the full release.
Just finished playing Mother’s Eye and I have to say — what an atmospheric and unsettling experience! The tension builds so well, and the subtle storytelling really pulled me in. I recorded my playthrough if anyone’s curious to see how it plays out through fresh eyes (and a few nervous jump scares 😅)

I played your game during my "Indie Horror Digest" livestream that I held today and it handle a lot of the horror aspects very well and really got scared quite a few times. Gave some tips and my review at the end! Thought it was quite good!
The use of sounds in this game is done very well. Jumpscares are used effectively and not over done, keeping them constantly scary. Very well made overall, great work Manux
Effective jumpscares but I really hated how the voice acting doesn't match the atmosphere at all. His mother just sent him a message basically saying "it's time to die" and the protagonist is like "oh geez louise holy moly, gotta fix this lousy internet signal :) "

The bits in the basement were very creepy! I thought a chase was going to happen and she was gonna crawl. I think the text on the subtitles when they speak,should be bigger as it was hard to read.

no idea what happened...but for the life of me i could not get into the little tunnel/hole entrance. i even restarted after getting stuck the first time and it still would not let me enter the tunnel. i even tried again off camera and nothing. i was looking forward to playing this since it looks so so good, just bugged out for me for some reason.
I'm very sorry for the incident and I wonder how it's possible, the only reasons could be, for example, did you accidentally extract some files outside the folder? Or deleted some files? Since extracting or deleting 1 file could damage and the game won't work anymore. Have you tried deleting the game and redownloading it? And have you checked to see if you were pressing CTRL and not another key? Or maybe your keyboard key isn't working properly. Let me know!
no files were deleted. i didn't delete and reinstall because honestly i wasn't sure that that would fix anything. I tried literally any key that i thought would work or should work. my first guess was the "C" key for crouch like any other game, when that did not work I tried clicking or just walking straight into the tunnel but that did not work either. and then that's when i tried literally every key on my keyboard to try to crouch. i didn't do anything to the files, just installed and started playing. seems like i might be the only one with this issue since everyone else loved it. i could try deleting and reinstalling if you think that could work. thank you for responding, im not a dev so i have no idea what would fix the issue lol
OH MY GOSH.... its CTRL to crouch? thats what you meant? lol i reinstalled and then tried CTRL and it worked. lol omg im gonna have to replay this. thank you.. im stupid
Imposing demo with a pinch of mystery, spooks and unique set-up, yet the core idea is kept as a secret and it leaves me with more questions.
The game has surreal sound design. Couple of sequences in the basement felt unnerving and creepy. I liked the environment and the camera movement, a lot. Now as for the story, I felt little cheated, because there is no indication of why are we spying on mother and how is Oliver involved in this. There were 3-4 jump scares, which also didn't work for me as they relied a lot on the player's attention and did not come out naturally. Overall, this was a good demo.

For being a demo, this was not too bad at all! Definitely got me a few times with the scares. Made a video on it.

Great atmosphere horror game, the jumpscares got me, it felt kinda silly to me though. Like the protagonist thought everything was ok when it wasn't.
